Story behind the need:
ITCity Consulting is looking for a Full-Stack Wix Developer to build, maintain, and optimize our web presence and internal tools. You'll work on itcityconsulting.com and related digital properties — improving site performance, SEO, and user experience — while also supporting broader web/app development needs beyond Wix, from landing pages to internal dashboards and automations. This role suits someone comfortable moving between no-code/low-code platforms and custom code, who can independently troubleshoot, build new features, and help scale our digital infrastructure as the business grows.
C$ 35.47 / hr
Part-time (20 hours per week)
Start Date: Immediately
Location: Canada-Remote
Core Requirements:
You have a minimum 10 years of industry experience in full-stack development.
You have hands-on experience building and deploying AI-integrated applications or AI-assisted development workflows.
You have proficiency across both front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, databases) along with solution architecturing no-code, low-code applications.
You are proficient with BaaS concepts and solutions.
Strong understanding of modern development practices, including API integration, cloud deployment, and version control
Possess a valid:
Canadian work authorization (Work Permit, PR, Citizenship)
Be physically present in Canada.
Nature of the job:
This is a part-time engagement supporting ITCity Consulting's Wix and full-stack development needs across itcityconsulting.com and related digital properties.
The developer is expected to be responsive and available to pick up and complete tasks within agreed timelines — this is not an ad-hoc, whenever-convenient arrangement. Work includes building and maintaining pages, fixing bugs, implementing new features, and supporting campaign or funnel builds as needed. Turnaround expectations will be set per task/sprint based on scope and priority.
The developer is expected to communicate proactively on progress, blockers, or delays rather than going quiet, and to flag technical risks or better approaches when relevant rather than simply executing requests without input.
Ownership matters — the developer is responsible for the quality and functionality of what they ship, including testing changes before marking them complete, and promptly addressing any bugs or issues that arise from their work.
Availability for occasional urgent fixes (e.g., broken forms, site-down issues) should be expected, with reasonable response times outside of a standard task queue.
This role suits a developer who takes ownership seriously, communicates well, and can be trusted to manage their own workload reliably within a part-time capacity.
